Here we are pleased to introduce member establishments of the Tokyo Cuisine Consumer Cooperative of Chuo Ward, Tokyo. Chuo Ward’s restaurants can be roughly divided into five areas, ranging from long-established to brand-new shops. This is one of the metropolitan’s best-known gourmet food areas.

■Ginza: This area features numerous art and culture sports, such as the Kabuki Theater, the National Noh Theater, and many large and small galleries. It is also a world-class tourist site, with famous old shops as well as global high-end brand shops.

■Tsukuji: The back alleys of this area features the special atmosphere of the original Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market, located here in the past. The maze of streets are packed with restaurants, seafood shops, and sellers of hand-made cooking materials such as knives. Tsukiji is extremely popular with foreign tourists.

■Kyobashi: This business center has been enhanced in recent years with a number of popular new commercial facilities.

■Nihonbashi: This area continues to develop as a financial and commercial center. It is popular for its unique combination of Meiji Period establishments and new commercial facilities.

■Hatchobori: This area offers excellent access from around the nation, due to its location near Tokyo Station and its proximity to train and high-speed bus transportation. It is also home to numerous office and commercial buildings.
