The area is home to the popular Tokyo Dome as well as lush historical spots like Rikugien Garden, Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, Nezu Shrine, and Yushima Tenjin Shrine. The Yanesen area (Yanaka, Nezu, and Sendagi) is particularly appealing, with its calm atmosphere and nostalgic streetscapes. This district is also known for being an academic hub, featuring many schools, including the prestigious University of Tokyo.


人気の「東京ドーム」をはじめ、「六義園」、「小石川後楽園」、「根津神社」、「湯島天神」などの緑豊かな歴史的スポット、落ち着いた雰囲気とどこかノスタルジーを感じさせる街並みが魅力の「谷根千（谷中・根津・千駄木）エリア」も人気があります。東京大学をはじめ学校が多いエリアでもあります。
